How To Play Multiplayer Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition
Had the same issue, a friend of mine tries to bring together a multiplayer session and just gets a "Can't connect to session" fault. No idea what's going incorrect as we haven't modified the game in whatsoever way and have kept the same settings since earlier the update.
Seems the update broke a lot of stuff. Any ideas?
I have the same problem. My friend tin't connect with me unless i cull new game, if I load a saved game he cannot connect. But even if nosotros choose a new game and create our characters, the game crashes for me as a host after starting the game. I just bought the game, and then I can't tell if it'southward the update that causes these problems.

Its a on going outcome for skillful while, in all the games.
yea i spent this eening trying to connect myself, i did port forwarding, just the game has other problems likewise, i hope they adess them, like performance and bugs where you get stuck behind a closed door......but at least i am able to connect to online games so perchance information technology works for some of y'all to

to be honest im kinda ill of his portforwarding in games, dont really go why some games demand it and others wrk only fine

I'm also having issues with this no luck on finding a solution i'll endeavour to do that port forwarding. The games that accept ports that need forward are for games that don't accept dedicated servers to host. The port has to be forwarded on the host network because they are hosting all the data/ minecraft/ terraria. Vs games that pay extra to host games on dedicated servers / league/ CoD. This is the first article i've found that even makes mention of port forwarding is there any official guide past beamdog on setting up MP?
I try to practise that port forwarding just it doesn't piece of work. Any solution :'( ?
Been trying to play with someone and information technology seems to work randomly. Often times ane of us crash, but afterward reconnecting x number of times it works.
I have the same trouble... It's incommunicable to host or join a MP...
Ok, this is simply silly. If they release an updated game on Steam of all places, the multiplayer should piece of work...Which information technology does not. This is insanely frustrating since this is the main reason we picked upwards the game. They talked of cross platform play...we tin't even play aforementioned platform! Is this an issue they volition resolve or tell us how to set up or what.

I also DMZed the host IP which opens all the ports or close to information technology and that iddn't work. I sent an email to beamdog back up this morn no reply yet. I'm out of ideas I used to utilise game ranger for multiplayer on this game but it doesn't work on the Enhanced version. I'm out of ideas... must exist on their end.

I just fixed information technology!!!! the port forwarding worked! you lot have to select 'local network game' or due west/eastward when the host creates it! and then give them your IP!
